Leiria MotorShow with national and international drivers invited
The LEIRIA MOTORSHOW takes place in a track built inside the Park and surrounding area of the Stadium, built annually with different configurations, to host the Track Day, the Drift Show, the Classic Sports cars Competition and the Leiria R2 Gold Challenge in the regularity and speed categories, as of 2022, counts with the signature of the renowned driver Pedro Matos Chaves.
Every year, more than 70.000 fans of Rally, Speed and Drift watch this unique show. The sounds of the engines, the competition cars, from the classics to the latest rally and speed cars, offer an incomparable variety of action. Also watch the unique cars driven by the Portuguese and international drivers that annually attend the event such as Ari Vatanen, Didier Auriol, Miki Biasion, Markku Alén, Pierre Lartiguem Dani Sordo, Gerad de Rooy, Adruzilo Lopes, Kris Meeke, François Delecour and Pedro Lamy.

O Motorshow realiza-se no exterior do Estádio, numa pista de corrida construída anualmente com diferentes configurações, passando pelo interior da Cidade de Leiria sendo um dos destaques do LEIRIA SOBRE RODAS. Anualmente mais de 15.000 fãs dos Rally, Velocidade e Drift assistem a este espectáculo único. Os sons dos motores, os carros de competição, dos clássicos aos mais recentes carros de rally e de velocidade, oferecem uma variedade incomparável de ação. O Track Day, aberto a todos os veículos e aficionados, a Super Especial com os carros que ganharam o Rally de Portugal e a presença de pilotos portugueses e internacionais.
Mais de 25.000 fãs dos Rally, Velocidade e Drift assistem a este espectáculo único. Em 2018 o Slalom/Super Especial contou com os carros e pilotos que fizeram a história do Rally de Portugal.
In partnership with the NDML, Saturday and Sunday are the official competition days of LSR. The classic sports cars occupy the event track in a competition disputed in regularity sport, with the approval of the Portuguese Car and Karting Federation, open to a maximum of 60 registrations with a sports licence and approved car. The registration is done by filling in a form made available by the NDML.

The LEIRIA MOTORSHOW annually invites drivers, showing on track why they are living legends of rallies, rally raids or speed.
Gerard de Rooy
Gerard de Rooy, off-road driver is a renowned Dutch Iveco driver in the famous The Rooy Team. He gained international recognition for his achievements in the Dakar Rally, where he won in 2012 and 2015 in the truck category. Rooy is considered a legend in the world of Rally Raid heavyweights for his extraordinary driving ability and determination in the most challenging conditions.
Adruzilo Lopes
Reference driver in the world of rallies in Portugal. He won 3 National Rally Champion titles in 1997, 1998 and 2001, 2 National F2 Champion titles and holds a National Champion title in GT's, showing his versatility and dexterity behind the wheel.
Kris Meeke
Meeke, a rally driver, began his career in rallying by recruiting young talent, having subsequently been “sponsored” by the unforgettable Colin Mcrae. After gaining attention in the JWRC and IRC, he reached the top of the pyramid at the hands of Prodrive, with the Mini project, in 2011. He also achieved 5 victories in the WRC and an IRC Champion title.
François Delecour
Vice World Rally Champion in 93, he is one of the fiercest and most competitive French rally drivers! He marked a time in the WRC between 1990 and 2002, being an official driver for brands such as Ford, Peugeot and Mitsubishi. His timely nature combined with his competitiveness and the great disputes he had in the Monte Carlo Rally, where he achieved victory in 94, are milestones in his long career.
Pedro Lamy
Pedro Lamy, circuit driver, is one of the best Portuguese drivers ever, having even been the first Portuguese to score points in Formula 1. With a very diverse career but always marked by great success, after reaching Formula 1 he also stood out in Endurance races, with victories in races as mythical as the 24h of Le Mans!
Pierre Latirgue
Presence at the 2022 edition!
Three-time winner of the Paris-Dakar, Pierre Latirgue an official Citroen Sport driver since from 1992, winning several Cross -country races with the Citroen ZX Rallye-Raids.
Dani Sordo
Boasting 176 participations in the WRC in his curriculum, 52 podiums and 3 victories and 213 scratch, 39-year-old Dani Sordo will be present at Leiria Sobre Rodas 2022.
The Spanish driver integrates the Hyundai team since 2014, and will be here to show us how to drive an i20 N Rally2.
Markku Alén
Was at the 2019 edition of LEIRIA SOBRE RODAS at the wheel of a 124 Abarth. The Finnish driver who has won the Rally de Portugal 5 times and holds the most titles in the World Rally Championship.
Massimo “Miki” Biasion
Was at the 2019 edition of LEIRIA SOBRE RODAS at the wheel of a Lancia Delta INTEGRALE 16v. European and Italian Champion in 1983, the Italian driver was two-time World Rally Champion in 1988 and 1989, the third driver to win two titles in a row, after Kankkunen and Walter Röhrl. In 1988, Miki won the Rally de Portugal for the first time, repeating the triumph in the following two editions, 1989 and 1990, at the wheel of Lancia Delta Integrale, becoming the only driver to obtain three consecutive victories in our race.
Didier Auriol
Was the International Driver of LEIRIA SOBRE RODAS 2018. Discovered in Montpellier while driving Ambulances, he was the first Rally World Champion of French origin, in 1994 at the wheel of Toyota Celica GT-Four ST185.
Ari Vatanen
Was in the 2017 edition of LEIRIA SOBRE RODAS at the wheel of a Ford Escort MKI. One of the living legends of Motor Sport, a true master of speed, winner of the World Rally Championship and 4 editions of the Dakar Rally.

Track Day
It is aimed at both car enthusiasts who seek the atmosphere of the event and the opportunity to drive on the track where the best national and international drivers are present to get the most out of their cars, and four-wheel lovers who delight in seeing different models of their favourite vehicles on the track. The allowed vehicles will have to have roll bars, seat belts and a 2kg fire extinguisher. Participants must wear helmets. Registrations are limited to 20 vehicles.

Drift Show
In partnership with Leiria Meeting, the track of LEIRIA SOBRE RODAS belongs to the Drift lovers. The best national drift drivers will join the fans of this modality on track. The criteria to take into account are: cars with rollbar; behaviour in and out of the track; show; sport license; participation in competitions of the national championship. Registrations are limited to 20 cars and places will be filled according to the criteria mentioned above, in order of requirements fulfilled and final decision. The DRIFT demonstration will be through battles of 2 to 2 (subject to confirmation and the progress of each driver).

One of the moments eagerly awaited for by the public, the classic sports cars will occupy the event's track in a competition disputed in regularity sport, with the approval of the Portuguese Car and Karting Federation.

Leiria Rally 2 Gold Challenge
Karting Track
Every year, in partnership with the Núcleo de Desportos Motorizados de Leiria, we install a karting track for children, with the purpose of showing the sport and affording the experience of driving a Kart to the younger ones, from the age of 5 to 12. The track will be open on the days of the event according to the exhibition schedule. Registration at the event secretariat and next to the track.

Leiria sobre Rodas brings a unique competition in Portugal - the Leiria Electric Challenge.
LSR Electric Challenge a unique competition in Portugal dedicated exclusively to electric vehicles in the regular sport mode. It took place on the route designed by Pedro Matos Chaves on the 30th of September and 1st of October and featured vehicles from the official brands present at the event.

Leiria sobre Rodas brings a unique competition in Portugal - the Leiria Eletric Challenge.
LSR Eletric Challenge a unique competition in Portugal dedicated exclusively to electric vehicles in the regular sport mode. It will take place on the route designed by Pedro Matos Chaves on the 29th and 30th of September and will feature vehicles from the official brands present at the event.
